Dr. Xin Yu’s research focuses on the neural control of movement and neurorehabilitation. Using advanced electromyographic techniques, her work investigates the neural mechanisms underlying motor control in both healthy and clinical populations. 

Dr. Yu aims to identify mechanistic biomarkers of motor impairment and recovery and to translate these findings into targeted rehabilitation strategies. She develops personalized interventions that integrate neuromodulation approaches and muscle–machine interfaces to improve motor performance and functional outcomes.
